Slate Auto, a new EV startup, supported by Jeff Bezos, has cooked a key Tesla production manager to build his electric pickup factory in Indiana.

Napoleon Reyes is an American marine from Indiana who got a degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue after leaving the strength.

Then he worked for a few years at Subaru and Wabash before joining Tesla’s production team at Fremont Factory in 2020.

There he became part of Model Y -Produktionsrampen and was quickly promoted to lead the Model Y General Assembly in Fremont in 2022.

Slate came out of Stealth mode earlier this year to reveal a new type of electric pickup with modular adaptation and an affordable price.
